WAE produce signage for St Helens RFC new stadium


Langtree Park is the new arena for St Helens Rugby Club. The new stadium was built as a joint venture with local-based property investment and development company Langtree. The stadium is the centre piece of the regeneration of the former United Glass site on Peasley Cross Lane.

The WAE Group in Leeds have manufactured and installed the signage at Langtree Park, a project requiring external totem signs, internal and external stadium signs and external directional signage. Some of the signs were internally illuminated with LED lighting.

WAE are very experienced at stadium signage, currently manufacturing and installing stadium signage and graphics for the Carnegie Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos.

The first match to be played at Langtree Park will be a friendly against Super League rivals Widnes Vikings on the 20th January where the stadium is expected to be filled to its 18,000 capacity.

New Banners Emphasise The KAEFER C&D Excellent Safety Record

KAEFER C&D is one of the UK’s largest providers of Specialist Insulation, Scaffolding, Industrial Painting and Architectural Fit-out services to the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Marine and Offshore
Construction Sectors.

Simon Hudson KAEFER C&D’s Sales &  Marketing Manager wanted to visibly illustrate the safety record of the group so commissioned WAE GROUP to produce a number of  large format banners with clear pockets for interchangeable graphics so that the safety hours can be changed and displayed.
The first site to benefit from the Banners is EON UK’s 2000mw Ratcliffe Coal Fired Power station located near Nottingham.  

From Jan 2011 to June 2011 KAEFER C&D’s team achieved the milestone of 250,000
man-hours worked without Lost Time Incident.

The large format banners WAE produce for are reinforced to ensure sustainability when affixed to industrial scaffolding at height.

Fairhurst Estates are an asset aquisition company who own and manage the
National Tyre & Auto Centre sites nationwide. The WAE Group in Leeds have been appointed to manufacture and install the signage and graphic requirements for 10 new London sites.
National Tyre And Autocare Cladded Fascia
Bright Bold colours are the order of the day for the NTC brand signage. The building fascia signage is manufactured from Plastisol Cladding with shaped graphics fitted in relief.

The forecourts are fitted with WAE manufactured multi layered Totem signs.
All site signage is fitted out by in house WAE Group professional fitting teams.

WAE complete New Control Centre Signage For Elliott

The WAE group in Leeds have completed signage for Elliott PLC  for their prestigious new control centre in Sheffield.

The new control centre situated at Sheffield Business Park is to manage the equipment hire side of the business.

The ELLIOTT main cut out lettering was routed from Aluminium, with built in Halo LED lighting.

The smaller lettering was routed from Cast Acrylic and fixed via stand offs.
All fitting was completed by WAE in house professional fitting teams.

WAE have a state of the art routing bed for cutting out shaped signs and lettering.
The routing bed will take a 10' X 5' sheet size and will cut acrylics, metals
and plastics.



Elliott is the biggest event hire company in the country, hiring fencing, barrier equipment, crowd control and temporary structures for ammenities and accommodation.

Leeds Rhino's Call WAE Group Into Action Before The Big Derby

Leeds Rhino's wanting to maximise TV Coverage for sponsors Leeds Building Society proceeding the biggest home game of the season against Bradford Bulls, instructed the WAE Group to produce and fit advertising panels on the new digital scoreboard.
The graphics were digitally printed and applied to Di Bond panels then fitted to the aluminium structure by the WAE professional graphic fitting team

The project from instruction to fitted completion was carried out within four days.
